What is STEAM?
STEAM is a transdisciplinary pedagogical model that is used as a vehicle for teaching state standards.
It is an approach to curriculum integration which dissolves the boundaries between the conventional disciplines and organizes teaching and learning around the construction of meaning in the context of real-world problems or themes.

Science, engineering, and math work together for learning to happen organically.

Art and technology are used as vehicles for learning to occur; not as extensions or enhancements for learning.

"Flipped Classrooms" take the place of traditional didactic learning by means of problem-based learning.
